Book the building before you book the clean
Many Bellevue apartment and condo buildings require a reserved service elevator and a move-out window. Those slots fill quickly at the end of the month, and everything else has to fit around them.
Sequence for the last 48 hours
- Movers finish and the unit is empty
- Trash and donations removed from the property
- Cleaning team arrives with utilities still on
- Walk-through scheduled at least a few hours later
What gets checked in a walk-through
Property managers usually look closely at appliance interiors, cabinet interiors, bathroom fixtures, and floor edges. Inside the refrigerator and inside the oven are common add-ons for exactly this reason.
